Thankful Village plaque

The bikers who carried out the Thankful Run last summer gave each of the parishes they visited a slate plaque, and asked if all 51 plaques could be unveiled at 11.00am on 3rd August 2014, being the closest Sunday to the actual anniversary of the begining of the Great War.

Our plaque was duly unveiled and blesses by the vicar Rev Stephen hippersley-Cox. as they had requested, and a short service of remembrance was held in church afterwards.
